Sheila Simkin Norwegian Star thoughts:
- The cabins were definitely spacious enough but only hold three persons maximum in outside cabins. I completely recommend a balcony, outside cabin for sitting on the balcony, and air of roominess. However, the inside cabins were surprisingly large and none of our grandchildren became claustrophobic in them, an initial concern.
- The Kid’s and Teen Clubs were great. There was always something for them to do if they so chose, and our group enjoyed them immensely. David, the five-year old, even had to be pulled kicking and screaming from the club at 10:00 p.m. one night because it was so much fun.
- Entertainment appealed to one and all. Second City Comedy Show was a major hit.
- Read separate post about the food.
- We like the NCL…View image… “Freestyle” method more than specific times for meals on other ships. That was the biggest plus for us.
No one will ever forget the meaningful time spend on board the Norwegian Star with a chance for the entire family to gather…View image…, separate, bond, disagree, find new common ground, meltdown, talk and enjoy themselves…View image…. with no outside daily pressures. Each one of us, from age 5 to 69…View image…, took away something unique and memorable and the answers were sometimes surprising. However, happiness and satisfaction was 100%. One son and family has already booked another cruise in the Norwegian Pearl for the Christmas holiday, 2009. …View image…
